What I do and why
I like monsters. I almost always have. At first when I was a little kid it was dinosaurs, but pretty soon after sneaking to watch horror films from young age it turned into monsters, ghouls and demons.Creepy and morbid shit fascinates me greatly. I love ugly things and that love I project through my art in various forms. It also intrigues me to see what exactly in art creates a positive or a negative impact for the viewer. I aim to create either one of those responses - worst kind of art is art that is bland and awakes nothing for its audience.As of late I have also been interested in depicting the dark side of mankind and the degeneration of human nature through painting. I also tend to process death and decay as thematic subjects in my works.

THE PURE SHIT PROJECT (Finnish ''Silkkaa paskaa'')
An ongoing art project that will consist of a series of paintings - all depicting different variations of feces.Shit. That is the most powerful common factor in everyone's day to day lives. It is something we all share as humans. Whether concrete, real shit or shit in the metaphorical sense, you can't go through life without it.This thought provoked me to embarge in this artistic journey to really paint what truly humbles humanity.
